Containerized field laundries

INFORMATION

The KPP-600 containerized field laundry is designed for washing clothing and linens, primarily under field conditions (especially in times of conflict, but also during training exercises, natural disaster relief, etc.) domestically and when conducting peacekeeping missions abroad.

The laundry system is equipped with two tents – an extension tent and a connecting tent – along with two water storage tanks, each with a capacity of 10 m3.

One closed tank is designated for fresh water, featuring safety sensors that inhibit washing machines from starting if there is an insufficient water supply to complete a full washing cycle. The second, open tank is for wastewater and is equipped with filter clogging and overflow sensors.

APPLICATION

The containerized layout of the laundry is an essential solution for temporary and emergency deployments, as it is easy to transport and install. It is an ideal asset for uniformed services, ensuring clean uniforms and bedding during field exercises or deployment missions.

Containerized field laundries are engineered to wash clothing, bedding, and linens with a maximum capacity of up to 600 kg per day, primarily in field conditions.

Assuming that a single field uniform weighs approximately half a kilogram, this implies that the KPP-600 can provide clean uniforms for up to 1,200 soldiers.

FEATURES

It is fully autonomous.

It is easy to transport and deploy.

It features its own integrated generator set to ensure a stable electrical power supply.

Operation requires a crew of only two soldiers (station preparation takes 1.5 hours when tents are not erected, or 3 hours with tents included).

Adapted to function in low temperatures (down to -30 degrees Celsius) as all hoses are equipped with heating cores to prevent water from freezing.
